We use a variety of different wood species depending on the natural characteristics of the timber and customer's personal preference. Some species are very durable, others have a finer grain and can be machined more accurately. Some are decorative in appearance and others can be plain.

All the woods we use are seasoned correctly. However, being a natural product, timber will develop in colour. Some will lighten while others darken. We will, of course, advise you of this when you come to choose your design and any particular stain.
